Password must meet complexity requirements. Select Yes to enforce the use of special characters and numbers in passwords.
Minimum Password Length. Enter a number representing the minimum number of characters in a password. If complexity requirements are set to No, the minimum password length is locked at 1 character. If complexity requirements are set to Yes, the minimum length for a password is 6 characters and the maximum length is 14 characters.
Password History. Enter a number that represents the number of passwords that must be unique before a password can be reused. 0 means the user cannot reuse their current password. The maximum number of passwords is 24.
Minimum Password Age. Enter a number for the minimum number of days that must pass before a user can change their password. 0 days means the user can change their password as frequently as they wish.
Maximum Password Age. Enter a number that represents the maximum password age before it expires and must be changed. The minimum and default is 0 days, and the maximum value is 999 days. Maximum password age can be overridden by selecting Password Never Expires, which is the same as setting the value to 0.
Grace Period to Change Password. Enter a number in days that represents the time after a user’s password has expired, but before the account becomes locked. A value of 0 means a user is locked out as soon as their password expires.
From this point, Password Policy settings apply to all users who log in.
